CityU is the largest student residence in Latin America. We’re located in downtown Bogotá, just minutes from the city’s top universities. We’re much more than a place to live: we’re a community of students from all over Colombia and the world, with a team committed to supporting you through every stage of your college life. Here you’ll find spaces designed for studying, resting, connecting with others and living experiences that go far beyond the classroom.

We’re in downtown Bogotá, one of the city’s liveliest areas for university, cultural and urban life. Our location puts us just minutes from universities such as Los Andes, Javeriana, Rosario, Externado, La Salle, Tadeo, CESA, Central, Autónoma, Libre, Gran Colombia and América, among others. And being in the heart of the city, you get easy access to transportation, shopping, great food and everything Bogotá has to offer.

At CityU, we make sure you can move in and settle down hassle-free. We offer 5-month contracts tailored to our residents’ needs, and rent covers all utilities: electricity, water, gas, water heater and internet — no separate bills and no unpleasant surprises at the end of the month. We don’t charge an admin fee, either.

Your room is designed with you in mind, with a 1×2 m bed, a workspace, plenty of storage and a private bathroom. You also get free access to our shared facilities: a fully equipped gym, study rooms, TV lounges, a game room, shared kitchens, laundry, an auditorium and a BBQ terrace with city views — all available 24 hours a day, with weekly cleaning and emergency medical care always close at hand.

Yes — and it’s one of the things that sets us apart. At CityU you’ll find Uheart, the retail area built into our residence, with a selection of restaurants, cafés, services and stores designed to make student life easier. Enjoy brands like Starbucks, Wok, El Corral, Crepes & Waffles, Juan Valdez, Hornitos and many more — all without leaving the complex. We also have retail options, financial services like Servibanca, and even a dental clinic. At CityU, the city is right inside.

With university students from different majors, cities and countries. CityU brings together young people who, like you, are living their college years and building their path. Depending on the type of room you choose, you can have your own private space or share with one, two or three roommates — always in an atmosphere of respect, community and getting along well.

CityU is located in downtown Bogotá, one of the areas with the most universities in the city. We’re close to Los Andes (3 minutes), Javeriana (12 minutes by transit), Rosario (8 minutes), Externado (10 minutes), La Salle (12 minutes), Tadeo (5 minutes), CESA (15 minutes by transit), Central (5 minutes), Libre (15 minutes), Gran Colombia (8 minutes) and América (4 minutes), among others. Close enough to get to class stress-free and make the most of your time.

CityU offers different room types so you can find the option that best fits you and your budget: from single rooms to spaces shared with two or three people. Every plan includes services, which means one monthly payment covers your room, utilities, internet, cleaning and access to all common areas, with no unexpected extra costs. Yes, and for us that’s non-negotiable. We have round-the-clock security, controlled access protocols and on-site emergency medical care. Our team is also available 24 hours a day to handle any situation that comes up. We know peace of mind matters to you and your family, which is why we work every day to ensure a safe, reliable and well-run environment.

We know leaving your furry friend behind isn’t easy, and we get it. For now, pets aren’t allowed at CityU. But we promise the community you’ll find here — and even Simba, our head mentor — will make you feel right at home from day one.

Meals aren’t included in the rent, but that doesn’t mean you’ll have to worry about where to eat. CityU has Uheart, our own retail area with a large food court offering something for every taste and craving.

We have fully equipped laundry rooms on site, available to all residents. Using this service comes at an additional cost that isn’t included in the rent.
